Retta Blom – seemingly, at least – has the perfect life. A wonderful husband who showers her with gifts, a son, a dog, and her dream house in an exclusive neighbourhood in Johannesburg. However, with her perfectionist eye, she notices a small crack in the varnish and begins to doubt. Retta begins to investigate and question the construction of her life. Could it be that her perfect husband has been hiding a dark secret from her for years? It’s during a trip to the Cape that the clues start to fit together.
