Decima by Eben Venter Book Launch (Tuesday 27 June 2023)

Oude Leeskamer and Penguin Random House invites you to the book launch of Decima by Eben Venter, in discussion with Fourie Botha, on Tuesday the 27th of June 2023 at 17h30 for 18h00 in our gallery space.

Decima is an elegiac work for many voices in which the author sings of the nature of loss in its many guises. The book combines autotoxicity, fable, a detective story and science, and is an urgent plea for the conservation of one of the world’s megaherbivores.
