Join us Friday the 28th of July from 18h00 until 20h00 for the screening of her, a 2013 American science-fiction romantic drama film written, directed, and co-produced by Spike Jonze. Depressed because of his impending divorce from his childhood sweetheart Catherine, Theodore purchases an operating system upgrade that includes a virtual assistant with artificial intelligence, designed to adapt and evolve. He decides that he wants the AI to have a feminine voice, and she names herself Samantha. Theodore is fascinated by her ability to learn and grow psychologically. The film explores the themes of human interaction, emotional ranges of humans, the concept of love, companionship, loneliness, physical touch and so much more. Popcorn and a beverage are R50.
