Michèle Betty’s poems have been published in various journals and anthologies, both locally and internationally, earning her the 2023 South African Literary Award for Poetry, among others.
Sarah Uheida’s poetry and lyrical short stories have been published widely in both South African and international anthologies. Her debut collection, Not This Tender, is an exploration of memory and remembrance, and examines the landscape of war-torn North Africa, from which she had to flee as a child.
Professor Sally Ann Murray is affiliated with the Department of English at Stellenbosch University. Her third collection of poetry, Otherwise Occupied (2019), was nominated for the 2020 South African Literary Award.
