Oude Leeskamer is pleased to welcome our next guest from the Jakes Gerwel/Oude Leeskamer residency programme, Sihle Qwabe, to our Skrywerskamer from the 25th of April to the 9th of May. In 2024, Sihle received the K. Sello Duiker Memorial Literary Award for his debut novel, The Resurrection. 

He is currently working on his next manuscript and will use his visit to hone his latest manuscript for publication under the guidance of his mentor at the Jakes Gerwel Foundation, Angela Briggs.
