Join us in Jannie se Leeskamer for the book launch of Frederick Botha’s debut short story collection, Seuns weet. This collection explores a young, white gay Afrikaans young man’s experience of his sexuality, faith, family ties, friendship, authorship and the social reality in which he finds himself. The publisher and Afrikaans poet Fourie Botha talks to freelance writer, fiction editor, and doctor of Afrikaans and Dutch Frederick Botha, who obtained his master’s degree in creative writing from Stellenbosch University under supervision of Alfred Schaffer and Willem Anker.
